Ingredients

  • 50 g oats (£0.75/10)=(£0.08)
  • 1 small egg (£0.88/6)=(£0.15)
  • 50 ml milk of choice, I used oat milk (£1.20/20)=(£0.06)
  • 25 g milk chocolate (£0.87/4)=(£0.22)

Cupboard Essentials

  • ½ tbsp peanut butter
  • ½ tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp baking powder

Instructions

PREHEAT OVEN TO 175°C

  • Combine the oats, milk of choice, egg, brown sugar and baking powder into a blender until smooth.
  • In a small ramekin, pour in half the blended mix. Add a dollop of peanut butter into the center and spread slightly to ensure it will be submerged and then pour the remaining half of the blended oats .
  • Pop on the oven for 10-12 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in a bowl over boiling water.
  • Pour the melted chocolate on top of the baked oats and tuck in!

Notes

  • Choose creamy or crunchy peanut butter for texture and nuttiness.
  • Sweeten with brown sugar, honey, or maple syrup to your desired level of sweetness.
  • Use any type of milk, dairy or plant-based, for the recipe.
