Start the day with this easy to make Summer Fruit Porridge. Prep the Coulis while the banana/porridge is bubbling and have yourself a healthy, nutritious vegan breakfast!

Ingredients

  • 300 g frozen summer fruits (£1.49)
  • 3 tbsp honey (£1.29)
  • Ingredients - Porridge
  • 90 g porridge oats (£0.75p)
  • 1 banana (£0.59)
  • A splash almond milk (£0.52)

Instructions

  • Start by prepping the week’s coulis by adding 300 grams of the frozen fruit to a saucepan on a low heat with 3 tablespoons of honey.
  • Heat up porridge oats (add 1 cup of the water and 1 cup porridge).
  • Add a generous splash of almond milk with 1 banana and mash together with the cooked porridge.
  • Pour the porridge into a dish and add the coulis.

You can use the coulis when you make the porridge during the rest of week. Enjoy!!
