Tuna Steak Fajita Bowls
Try these tasty Tuna steak fajita bowls. All the flavor while low calorie and high in protein. Garnish the Tex Mex spicy tuna with a dollop of sour cream, lime and coriander. So delicious!

- 400 g tuna steaks (£2.99)
- 400 g mushrooms (£0.95)
- 500 g frozen peppers (£0.69)
- 1 red onion (£0.20)
- 1 lime (£0.20)
- 5 tbsp 1 dollop of sour cream per serving (£0.99)
- 5 wholemeal wraps (£0.79)
- Optional coriander
Cupboard Essentials
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ oregano
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt
If you don’t believe me when I say it tastes like chicken, try it!
* defrost tuna steaks overnight*
Start by roughly chopping the mushrooms and adding them to a frying pan on a high heat with 1 tbsp of olive oil.
Fry until they are nicely browned (approx five minutes). Meanwhile, dice the tuna steaks and slice the onion.
Once the mushrooms have browned, set them aside. In the same pan add another tbsp of olive oil and add the onions and tuna. Add the fajita seasoning with a pinch of salt and fry for 5 minutes.
Pour in the mixed peppers and fry for a further five minutes.
Once cooked, place the wrap on the bottom of the bowl and ladle in some of the filling.
Top with a squeeze of lime, fresh coriander and a dollop of sour cream. Mmmmmmm
