Air Fry Pork Belly Strips

- 1 kg pork belly slices, 4 long strips (£5.32)
- 1 spring onion, thinly sliced to serve (£0.65)
- 1 tsp garlic paste (£1/20= £0.05)
- Optional chilli crisp
Cupboard Essentials
- 1 tbsp honey, optional
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- ¾ tsp cayenne pepper
To a large mixing bowl ,add the garlic paste, soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, fish sauce and cayenne pepper.
Add the pork belly strips into the bowl and stir to combine. Add foil to line your airfryer basket, then place the pork belly strips inside. Cook for 10 minutes at 190°C/ 380°F.
Next, add a drizzle of honey and cook for a further 5-8 minutes at 200°C/ 400°F.
Let the pork belly strips rest for 5 minutes before plating, then top with spring onion, a crack of black pepper and optional chilli crisp. Serve the cooking sauce remaining in the foil as a dip.

Ensure the pork belly is completely dry. Thoroughly pat the outside of each slice with a paper towel.

Arrange in a single layer with space between slices.
