Air Fryer Crumpets (Easy and Cheesy)

These quick air fryer crumpets will be a new household favorite! Topped with marmite, cheese, and tomatoes for a tasty meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 crumpets (£0.45/3)
  • A few spreads of butter (£2/10)
  • 50 g cheddar, grated (£2.50/4)
  • 100 g cherry tomatoes, sliced in half (£0.69/2)
  • Optional basil to garnish

Cupboard Essentials

  • Crack of black pepper
  • 1 tsp marmite

Instructions

  • Add a layer of butter, then marmite to each crumpet. Place in your airfryer basket (no need to preheat).
  • Next, add a layer of cheese to each crumpet. Add the tomatoes into the side of the basket and cook for 5 minutes at 200°C. For an extra crispy cheese topping, cook for a further minute.
  • Top with a crack of black pepper and a few basil leaves to optionally garnish. Enjoy!

Notes

 
  • Serve immediately for the best texture. Let them cool just slightly, then dig in while they’re still perfectly crisp and fluffy.
