Ingredients

  • 500 g ground chicken/ chicken mince (£2.49)
  • 3 tbsp fresh coriander (£0.52)

Cupboard Essentials

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 tbsp vegetable/rapeseed oil

Instructions

Start by preheating your airfryer to 390°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.

  • Meanwhile, combine the chicken mince, coriander, olive oil, garlic powder and onion powder. Season with a generous pinch of salt and pepper and mix until well combined.
  • Form 4 chicken patties. Coat the base of the preheated air fryer basket with a light spray/drizzle of oil, then place the patties inside.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes at 390°F (200°C), or until the internal temperature reads 165℉ (74℃)

Notes

  • Always preheat for even and faster cooking.
  • Use water or oil to prevent ground chicken from sticking to your hands.
  • Cook patties without touching for thorough cooking and a crispy exterior; cook in batches if needed.
  • Flip patties midway to ensure even cooking on both sides.
  • Ensure patties reach 74°C (165°F) to confirm they're fully cooked.
