Ingredients

  • 100 g butter (£2.00/2)
  • 400 g noodles/pasta of choice (£0.65)
  • 400 g can of cream of chicken soup (£0.65)
  • 400 ml chicken broth (£2.60)
  • Handful of fresh parsley, finely chopped to serve (£0.60)
  • 400 ml water

Instructions

  • Start by adding the broth to a large saucepan over a medium heat. Once hot, slowly pour in the cream of chicken soup, whisking continuously to combine.
  • Add the water and noodles or pasta of choice. Once it starts to boil, set your timer to 10 minutes.
  • Stir occasionally until the pasta is cooked and the sauce has thickened. Turn off the heat, then add the butter and a generous amount of black pepper.
  • Season with additional salt if necessary and top with fresh parsley. Dive in!
