- ⅔ cup (60g) rolled oats
- ½ cup (120g) peanut butter (runny, natural)
- 2 scoops (about ½ cup / 60g) vanilla protein powder
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- ¼ cup (40g) Magic Stars (or mini chocolate chips)
- Splash of milk or water, if needed
Add the peanut butter, oats, protein powder and maple syrup, then blitz to a dough, adding a splash of milk or water if it's too stiff to come together.
Stir in the Magic Stars.
Roll into 12 balls and chill for 30 minutes, then store in the fridge.
- Use runny, natural peanut butter for a silkier dough that needs less added liquid; if the mix is too stiff to come together, add milk or water a teaspoon at a time until it just holds.
- Chill for 30 minutes before serving to firm them up so they hold their shape and travel neatly, and damp your palms before rolling so the mix doesn't cling.
- They freeze brilliantly, so make a double batch and stash half for the weeks you can't be bothered.
