Don’t overcook it. Overcooking your chicken will cause it to dry out. Aim for an internal temperature of 74℃ (165℉) for the perfect reheat.
Across the internet, you will find that most prefer the oven method as the best way to reheat rotisserie chicken. The method is straightforward and pretty hands off so you are free to make a few sides while your chicken reheats.

I personally prefer the air fryer method for 2 reasons. First, it is fast, so I can use it for a quick lunch or dinner. And second, it keeps the skin crispy. Which, if you have ever eaten soggy chicken skin, you know why this is so important!
Step 1: Preheat the air fryer to 350℉ (177℃).
Step 2: Place whole chicken in the basket.
Step 3: Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes or until the internal temperature is 165℉ (74℃).
Step 4: Carefully remove and serve.

Step 2: Place piece/pieces on a microwave safe dish.
Step 3: Cover with parchment paper or a moist paper towel.

Reheating on the stove top can be used for small pieces or larger sections like a whole breast or thigh. To make sure the skin crisps up, be sure to place the chicken skin side down in the oil for a minute to two.

Step 2: Preheat a skillet to medium low heat.
Step 3: Add 1 Tbsp of cooking oil to the pan.

If you have a lot of time on your hands or need time to prepare other dishes, then heating up a rotisserie chicken in the slow cooker may be the method for you.
1: Wrap chicken tightly in foil. Place chicken foil seam side up in the crock pot (so the liquid does not get inside). Place 1 cup of broth in the bottom of the pot.
2. Cook for 3-4 hours on low depending on the size of the chicken. (Internal temperature should be 165℉ (74℃).
