Camembert is a soft cheese which originates in Normandy, France.
Itโs made from cowโs milk and is known for itโs buttery, smooth texture which when melted, has gooey texture which is mouthwatering.
Itโs taste is similar to brie but camembert is slightly more intense and rustic, which is why the honey, chilli flakes and cajun spice are perfect to balance the intensity.
Camembert
I opt for a standard sized camembert which is 250g. My favourite brand is Le Rustique.
Honey
The sweetness of the honey balances this camembert cheese really nicely.
Cajun seasoning
Itโs salty, has a mild spice, and looks really nice visually as a finisher for this baked camembert.
Preheat the oven to 180ยฐC/200ยฐF.
