Got leftovers? Here is how to keep your honey balsamic brussel sprouts tasting fresh.
Refrigerator: To store these oven roasted brussel sprouts, let them cool completely before transferring to an airtight container. They will last in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
Freezer: I honestly do not recommend freezing roasted sprouts, as they tend to become mushy upon thawing.
Reheat: To reheat, pop them back in the oven or an air fryer for 5 minutes to crisp them up again. Avoid the microwave if you want to maintain that lovely texture. Use leftovers alongside this Creamy Leftover Ham Pasta.

I use fresh sprouts for honey balsamic brussel sprouts rather than frozen as it’s really hard to get a caramelised crispy exterior with frozen. They release a lot of moisture which stops this process from happening.
You may have overcrowded them in the pan. This means that they release a lot of steam onto each other whilst they roast which prevents crispiness.
No need for boiling! This would also prevent the crispy exterior that we’re after compared to other brussel sprouts recipes, due to too much moisture being in the tray.
Absolutely! Cook them for 10-12 minutes at 180°C/355°F, adding the brussel sprouts balsamic honey glaze after 5 minutes.
Yes! Unlike some brussel sprout recipes, the chilli is optional. You can skip it for a kid-friendly balsamic brussel sprouts version.
